Southam United Bowling Club

Needing 3 points to be crowned Division 2 champions the men managed to get 4 points thanks to Dave Cooke's 13 shot win. Though both Ted Coupe's and Mick Bicknells's rinks were in the lead for most of the game they both lost narrowly by 2 shots and 3 shots respectively. Next year will be only the second  year that Southam have played in the top division although this is the first time that they have been promoted as champions
